This Thursday (23 Feb) the one and only Kim Woodburn will be the first guest judge of 2017 on that glorious sofa alongside Baga Chipz and Mary Mac. Strictly Ball at the Brewers

Those frisky, footie hunks, the London Titans FC, will be coming over all sparkly this Friday (24 Feb) when they add a Strictly theme to Ball, their monthly club night. The night will be hosted by Son of a Tutu and Titti La Camp, and there’s going to be a dance competition from 8pm. The night will be presented in association with the Gay Men’s Dance Company, London Otters, Football v Homophobia, Wandsworth Oasis and various gay runners with a charity raffle and more surprises.

Don’t be late for Love Station

There’s a brand new party happening this Sunday (26 Feb) that promises to ‘bring the party back to Brixton’. Love Station is at the Prince of Wales on Brixton Road and will feature DJs Bobby Blanco, Wayne G and Afrochick. Queer Question Time LGBT Month Edition

The RVT hosts another Queer Question Time this Thursday (23 Feb) with an LGBT History Month special. Son of a Tutu chairs a panel including Clare Barlow (artist, Tate Britain), Stuart Feather (performer/author), Miqhael Kannemeyer (activist), Stewart McDonald MP (SNP), DJ Ritu (activist/broadcaster) and Rebecca Stinson (Stonewall). Get there for 7.15pm.

Tim Murphy reads from Christodora

This Sunday (26 Feb) the team from Gays the Word bookshop have organised a special event at New Bloomsbury Set from 4pm. Author Tim Murphy is coming over from New York and will be doing a special reading from his novel Christodora and have a conversation with Boyz book reviewer Uli Lenart. It’s free to attend but you need to book tickets in advance via christodoraevent.eventbrite.co.uk.
