Central Station turns 25

This Saturday (4 Feb) Central Station celebrates 25 years as an independent gay bar. Cabaret legend Dave Lynn was there on the opening night and will be performing again this Saturday where there’s going to be free Prosecco and canapés from 9pm, as well as free entry all night until 3am. There’s also an exhibition of press cuttings, photos and posters called Central Station – 25 Years in the Making, which highlights the venue’s importance to the local and London LGBT community.

Divas at the RVT

We love a diva and this Thursday (2 Feb) there are four amazing ones at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern. Diva Explosion features hit-packed sets including some massive 90s dance anthems from Rozalla (Everybody’s Free), Tina Cousins (Mysterious Times), Urban Cookie Collective (The Key, The Secret) and Happy Clappers (I Believe). XXL Bears

Yes, we know there are bears a-plenty to be found at Pulse every week, but this Saturday (4 Feb) at XXL Bear it’s going to be like a sexed up episode of the Hair Bear Bunch. If you fancy being Goldilocks, or maybe you’re a daddy bear, then head to the Southbank venue for amazing music from those crafty critters, aka Paul Morrell, Alex Logan, Joe Egg and David Robson, and a totes hawt bear fest!

Friday night at the Brewers

It’s all go this Friday (3 Feb) at the Two Brewers in Clapham. The amazing DE Experience is back for another show in the Club Bar at 9pm and then the rest of the night is handed over to those frisky rugger buggers, the Kings Cross Steelers, for Ruggercub. Their special guest is cabaret goddess Lola Lasagne plus DJs Demon and Phil Marriott.

Twisted vs SBN

On Friday (3 Feb) you can ‘gear up and play hard’ when the fetish guys from Twisted team up with those naked fellas from SBN for a special party at Protocol in Vauxhall, with music from DJs Paul Coals Tony Latex. Tickets are on sale now from ticketarena.co.uk.

Senhit at the Tabernacle

Senhit is a super talented singer songwriter from Italy and she’s making her London debut this Thursday (2 Feb) at the Tabernacle in Notting Hill. To celebrate this landmark gig, the rst 50 people to arrive at the venue will get free entry and a free drink! Doors open at 7.30pm – we suggest you get there early!

Boys in the Band

This Tuesday (7 Feb) the marvellous Boys In the Band starts a limited two-week run at the Vaudeville Theatre on the Strand. Lunges in Leggings

Want a fun, fast- paced tness class that combines cardio, strength and exibility to give you an effective workout? Monthly Mastermind Session

Coaching for Gay Geeks hosts an afternoon in the Foyer Space at Royal Festival Hall on Southbank this Sunday (5 Feb), giving you the opportunity to get some help with any life problems you may be experiencing. Between 3pm and 5pm, each person gets two minutes to talk about their situation, problem, task or whatever is on their mind. A group of no more than ve listens and then each offers a minute of feedback and ideas. And it’s only £5 per person to attend.
