Get involved! Camden LGBT Forum marks LGBT History Month

Camden & Islington LGBT History Month continues to offer a range of exciting events all this week and next.

On Monday (20 Feb), Valerie Remy and Brenda McKay explore the contrasting lives of two men with The Wolfendens talk and discussion from 6.30pm. The Wolfenden Report of 1957 formed the basis of the 1967 Act; its author, Lord Wolfenden, had a son, Jeremy, who was openly gay. Check camdenlgbtforum.org.uk for details of the venue.

And The Walk for Islington Pride – 50 Years of LGBT History continues this and next Saturday (18 and 25 Feb) from 11am, starting at the Islington Museum. To ensure a place on these free walks, book via eventbrite.co.uk.

Finally, Queeropolis, hosted by Lanah Pillay, sees special guests including 80s chart topper Sonia and TV’s Mary Portas take over Conway Hall next Saturday (25 Feb) from 7pm. To book tickets, visit camdenlgbtforum.eventbrite.com.
