G-A-Y Porn Idol is the most fun you can have on a Thursday night with or without your clothes on. Every week brave and reckless fools strip off and get down in front of resident judges Mary Mac, Baga Chipz and Son of a Tutu, plus a series of amazing guests drawn from reality TV and RuPaul’s Drag Race. Here’s a look at some of the guests coming your way.
Raja: Thursday 20 April
Raja, real name Sutan Amrull, had already carved himself a successful career as a make up artist on TV before winning Season 3 of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
He worked on America’s Next Top Model from Season 4 to 12 and has an impressive list of celebrity clients including Dita von Teese, Pamela Anderson, Paulina Porizkova, Iman, Tyra Banks, Iggy Azalea and Twiggy. Plus since 2009, Amrull has been make-up artist to superstar Adam Lambert. Although born in California he grew up in Indonesia before returning to the States where he discovered the drag scene of the LA gay clubs, and was drawn to the more rebellious side influenced by punk and goth looks. Since winning Drag Race, Raja has toured the world, released a number of singles, including club smash Diamond Crowned Queen, and even started in the video for the recent Blondie single Fun.
Kimora Blac: Thursday 27 April
Drag Race Season 9 is already proving to be a smash hit and one of the big stars is Kimora Blac. Hailing from Sin City itself, Las Vegas, she’s gorgeous in and out of her glam pink frock.
Willam: Thursday 4 May
Willam Belli is American drag royalty who was a member of supergroup DWV with smash hits such as That Boy is a Bottom. He has graced the stage at Heaven with the group and been on that glittering judges’ sofa before, so be warned – he’s fierce with a capital F.
Trixe Mattel: Thursday 11 May
She’s plastic, fantastic and Trixie is making a welcome return to that judges’ sofa at G-A-Y Porn Idol. On Season 7 of RuPaul’s Drag Race she was eliminated and then brought back a few episodes later. Since the show she has released singles, toured the world and was even in a TV show called Gay of Thrones!
