XXL Bear: Saturday 8th April
The theme last Saturday at XXL was Bears and when we arrived at Pulse there were more of the frisky critters on the dancefloor than you’d find running amok in darkest Peru.
We started in the main room where birthday boy Paul Morrell was thrilling us with his tune choices, followed by Alex Logan whose set included a rather nifty remix of new Steps song Scared of the Dark, much to the delight of the crowd. We ended up in that funky Fur Lounge where messieurs Robson and Egg were mixing up the pop and R&B with just a hint of disco realness.
