Drag Idol Reporter at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern: Thursday 11th May
We are nearing the end of the individual venue heats of Drag Idol 2017 and things are getting seriously interesting.
Drag Idol Reporter has been out and about at quite a few heats and on Thursday 11 May we were at the RVT for their third heat, where the sensational Felix Le Freak won in glorious style in a very strong heat. Last week’s RVT heat was won by the lovely Tracy Barlow and she joins Felix and the others in the venue’s heat final this week.
Other winners over the last week include Marsha Mallow at Halfway II Heaven, Veronica Green at OMG Bristol, Foxey Lafey at OMG Swansea, The Ivory Urchin at Central Station, Shania Pain at OMG Sheffield and Sal Ford at the Admiral Duncan. At Via in Manchester, Angel Delight triumphed, as did Aura Jay at Quay Pride in Great Yarmouth and Brenda LaCreme at the Old Ship on Friday.
Over the next week a lot of venues have their heat finals when we find out who will represent them at the Semi Finals in June. Keep an eye on the Drag Idol website or download the swish new app to keep up to date.
