Seven Days: Duckie Family, The RVT, The Two Brewers, Popcorn and more

This Saturday (3 June) those amazing folk at Duckie are throwing a very special shindig with a theme of Queer Carnival in all its glory. Duckie Family is at Rich Mix on Bethnal Green Road and will start at 8pm with QTIPOC films and discussions put together by curator Campbell X. Later on you get live performances by Boy Blue Entertainment, Karnage, Samba Boys, D’relle Khan and more with the gorgeous Mzz Kimberley as your hostess. Plus there will be a dancehall queen competition on the night when you could grab that trophy! Tickets on sale at duckie.co.uk.

S Club at the RVT

If you love quality pop (and who doesn’t?) then on Thursday (1 Jun) you are in for a treat at the RVT as they host an S Club Party featuring Bradley, Jo and Tina from the pop supergroup to perform hits such as Bring It All Back, Reach and Don’t Stop Moving. Backroom White Party at the Brewers

Friday nights are made for funky tunes and you will get loads this weekend (2 Jun) at the Backroom White Party at the Two Brewers. Delivering the funky vocal, deep and tech house will be Liam Chaplin, Sam Londt and guest DJ Toby Lawrence. Plus the dress code is white, of course, which is good for showing off those sexy tans!

Popcorn Femme Fatale

This Monday (5 Jun) Nadim and his team at Heaven are celebrating the female form in all its diverse and splendid glory at Popcorn Femme Fatale. There will be incendiary stage shows and amazing DJs including one of the best female DJs in town, the brilliant Neroli

Counter Termini is opening

Counter is one of our favourite foodie destinations and the BackCounter bar has undergone a very sexy transformation. Counter Termini is a swish and stylish Italian destination that focuses on wood-fired pizzas, antipasti, classic Italian desserts and delicious cocktails. It’s open every day from 11.30am. Bellissima!

Halfway’s weekend

This weekend will be jammed packed with tasty cabaret treats at Halfway II Heaven starting on Friday (2 Jun) with Martha D’Arthur and Drag With No Name. Saturday will feature Mrs Moore and The Vixens with Crystal and Kelly finishing us off in style at CK Sunday.

Sweatbox Thursdays

Musicals at The Victoria

Pixie and the gang at The Victoria in Walthamstow present a night of musical theatre this Saturday (3 Jun) with the always brilliant Canny Nice. The venue is open until 3am and it’s free entry.
