Theatre: Queers at the Kings Head Theatre

After storming the International Dublin Gay Theatre Festival last month, Em-Lou Productions and Dragonflies Theatre present a series of vital queer stories of London back in their native city.

Written by Patrick Cash (The HIV Monologues) and directed by Peter Darney (5 Guys Chillin’), Queers is an exhilarating play about LGBTQ empowerment in 2017. It follows 25 year-old Larry, who’s on a straight stag do, tawdry drag queen Trish, schoolteacher Carol, young Soho barman Danny and black trans woman Saphhire, and how their lives intertwine on one fateful, cruel April night.
A must-see!

Queers runs from next Saturday (25 Jun) until Saturday 1 July at the King’s Head Theatre, 115 Upper Street, Islington, London, N1 1QN. Book tickets via kingsheadtheatre.com.
