A Titanic Ball at the Two Brewers

This Friday (28 Jul) those frisky London Titans are back at the Two Brewers with their club night Ball and this time they are coming over all Celine Dion with the brilliantly titled It’s Ball Coming Back To Me Now. We asked cabaret stars CK and Vanity von Glow, who are performing on the night and Ollie and Scott from the Titans what Ms Dion means to them.

Ollie James-Parr from The London Titans

“I still remember road tripping it through California as a masc4masc pre-teen, rocking out to Celine’s greatest hits with the family. How I turned out this way I’ll never know, but what I do know is HRH Miss Dion is a legend – hilarious and astounding in equal measure. My favourite song has to be Think Twice. And you know what, I really did.”

Crystal D’Canter

“I’ve been a Celine fan since I was a child and love and admire her work. I love that she’s a rock chick at heart and every now and again she just breaks loose and we all see that passion, a passion I try to bring to our performances. I Drove All Night is my song, and you may just get a rendition of it on Friday!”

Kelly Mild

“Celine is not really my Queen. She is however a huge part of my life because of one thing, the film Titanic. I could write a book about why but we’ll save that for another day!”

Scott de Blasio from The London Titans

“I have always loved Celine Dion, which is why I’m going to see her twice at the O2 this summer. She is the ultimate 90s pop diva, with her powerful voice, sassy lyrics and a fun sense of humour. My all time favourite song is I’m Alive because I feel so uplifted when I hear it. It makes me want to sing the song at the top of my lungs. See me centre stage at The Two Brewers on Friday when this number comes on!”

Vanity von Glow

‘’Well, as people may or may not know I have actually been performing in Las Vegas as Celine Dion’s body double for several years. The real Celine has been living in the Canadian tundra hunting moose, leaving me to belt out all of her classics including my personal favourite It’s All Coming Back To Me Now.”

Ball is at The Two Brewers on Friday 28 July at 114 Clapham High Street, SW4.

Entry is free before 10pm.
