The Two Brewers – Manager Jimmy’s anniversary: Sunday 16th July
If a week is a long time in politics then 25 years on the gay scene must take us back to the big bang!
Last Sunday the great and good of the cabaret scene gathered at the Two Brewers to celebrate manager Jimmy Smith’s 25th anniversary of running gay venues. The place was packed with off duty drag acts, managers of other bars and loads of loyal Brewers regulars. In the Club Bar Pam Ann was on hilarious form, raw and definitely uncensored, she even got Jimmy up to dance on stage. In the Cabaret Bar the talent included Miss Jason with Lola Lasagne, Mary Mac, Titti La Camp and Sandra. It was a brilliant night showcasing the respect that the whole scene has for Mr Smith.
