The Two Brewers Pride weekend

This weekend the Clapham cabaret mothership, aka the Two Brewers will be fit to bursting with amazing parties featuring the biggest acts and DJs on the scene. Here’s a looksie at what’s occurring.

Charlie Hides

Friday 7 July, 5pm – 4am

Charlie Hides has had a pretty amazing 2017 so far, what with appearing on a certain hit US TV show AND winning his second Boyz award in a row. This Friday (7 Jul) he’s back at the Brewers, one of his favourite venues on the planet. You can expect songs, stories, a bit of Cher and a lot of laughs.

Brewers’ Pride Party

Saturday 8 July, 5pm – 4am

Pride may be centred on the West End and Soho during the day but do not be fooled the Brewers will be rammed on Saturday night with very happy punters. The cabaret will come from the Sundaes, a brilliant group of girls. Brewers manager Jimmy Smith told us what Pride means to him and the venue: “Pride is a time for the whole scene to come together, love does happen right here at the Two Brewers.”

Grenfell Tower Benefit

Sunday 9 July, 6.30pm – late

On the day after Pride you can do something brilliant and help raise money for the residents of Grenfell Tower. The line-up at this fundraiser includes Mary Mac, Rose Garden, Dr Woof, Sandra, Miss Penny, Tracy Barlow, Crystal D’Canter, Miss Jason, Son of a Tutu, Sooz Kemper, Myra DuBois and more. There’s also going to be a raffle and some amazing items for auction. One of the driving forces of this event has been Gareth Joyner, who told us: “The devastating fire at Grenfell Tower has really hit Londoners in the heart. Rather than dwell on the issues, we want to focus on the love we feel as the wonderfully diverse community of London. And really, what else could we do but rattle some buckets and fling them as much desperately needed cash as possible? People want to help, people are good like that.”
