Travel Special: Explore Tel Aviv in London next month

TLV in LDN is a weekend celebration of Tel Aviv that is happening right here in London in September featuring all kinds of events including a massive LGBT party at the Coronet. We take a look at what’s on offer.

Friday 8 to Monday 11 September 

From Friday 8 September London will be host to a festival across various venues to promote the beautiful city of Tel Aviv as a holiday destination and celebrate its amazing culture.

This four day extravaganza will be an opportunity to revel in Tel Aviv’s rich cultural landscape, encompassing gastronomy, music, nightlife, arts and style. The main venue for TLV in LDN will be the Roundhouse in Camden where Londoners and visitors will be able to indulge their senses amid a bustling festival vibe. The festivities will also include satellite events around the city, showcasing a mixture of talent from both cities across a range of cultural touch-points.

Highlights of the festival will include live music, workshops and performances from dance troops, art and lots of food. The Roundhouse will host a free food festival on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 with numerous food stalls alongside five guest chefs, showcasing the breadth of cuisine from the region.

Tel Aviv Beach Party at the Coronet

Friday 8 September, 11pm to 6am 

As part of TLV in LDN the legendary Coronet in Elephant and Castle is being transformed into a massive beach party on Friday 8 September for a party aimed at London’s LGBT scene.

Hosted by Eliad Cohen of Papa this huge party will feature a live PA by Dana International, a performance by Mayumana and DJs Suri, Asaf Dolev and Zach Burns. The main stage will be transformed into the famous Jaffa beach strip by one of Europe’s top set designers as Israeli icon and Tel Aviv ambassador Eliad Cohen throws a club night as only he can. This promises to be a clubbing highlight of the year.
