Indulge in a Royal weekend at The RVT

Every weekend at the RVT is special, they pride themselves on providing something for everyone. This weekend coming is typical in that it is packed with the gorgeous, hilarious, sexy and unexpected. We take a quick look at the week ahead.

The Big Pub Quiz

Thursday 17 August, 8pm – late

We all love a pub quiz and the last one at the RVT was a total hoot. Hosted by the lovely Michael Twaits this promises to be even better. Get yourself a team and email [email protected] to reserve a space, teams can be up to five but no more. The Boyz team will see you there!

Ripley followed by BeefMince

Friday 18 August, 7pm to 4am

Ripley is one of the hottest new cabaret stars in London, taking the art of lip sync to new levels. Her show Like A Sturgeon is a night of political drag satire and is hilarious. Later on those totally hawt boys from BeefMince are back doing what they do best at the RVT. Amazing music with resident DJs Silverhook and Cactushead, a ton of fit blokes and more fun than a bag of bangers on Firework night.

Duckie

Saturday 19 August, 9pm to 2am

Saturday nights were made for Duckie at the RVT and vice versa. The very best in beautiful pop tunes spanning the decades and genres from the Readers Wifes plus the one and only Amy Lamé is in charge. What is not to love?

The DE Experience at Sunday Social

Sunday 20 August, 3pm to midnight

You haven’t really experienced cabaret in gay London until you’ve been to Sunday Social at the RVT. This weekend it’s the undisputed queen of the withering look, lip-curling snarl, hilarious one liners and roof-raising sing-along, the completely brilliant DE Experience plus DJs Simon Le Vans, Sean Sirrs and Liam Chaplin.

Bingo, Wot and Bette Rinse

Monday 21 to Wednesday 23 August

Just because it’s the start of the week don’t think for a nano second that the fun stops at the RVT. Monday is the Big Bingo Show and you’re extra lucky as this week it’s hosted by the cracker Ginny Lemon. Tuesdays are the extraordinary cabaret showcase that is Bar Wotever which is always packed with innovation and entertainment. This Wednesday (23 Aug) there’s a very special fundraiser for Mildmay HIV Hospice in the shape of Bette Rinse’s Blankety Blank with loads of special guests and laughs galore.
