Down at Halfway II Heaven, Heather – aka The Wicked Witch of the West End – and her team of flying monkeys have a truly terrifying line up of devilish drag in the their cabaret crypt for the Halloween weekend. If you can come out from behind the sofa, here’s what’s on the slab…
Lola and Myra
Friday 27 October, from 8pm – 3am
Prepare for a cackle fest as two of the scene’s head witches pull out the cauldron and cast their cabaret spell over you. First up is Lola ‘Lastrange’ Lasagne followed by Myra ‘I Killed Dobby’ DuBois. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
Saturday Cabaret Chaos
Saturday 28 October, 3pm – 3am
Saturdays are always a tad strange at Halfway but for Halloween the weird meter goes all the way to 11. The crazy starts at 3pm with the tartan terror Mary ‘Murder on the Dancefloor’ Mac and then goes up a notch with Rose ‘Who’s Buried in the’ Garden at 5pm, plus DJ John ‘Poppers Burn’ Moore. Later on those weird sisters The Vixens will slink out of a dark hole to be on stage at 10pm with DJ Justin ‘Slasher’ Swift.
CK Spooky Sunday
Sunday 29 October, 3pm – late
If it’s Sunday then it’s the truly scary Crystal ‘Deadly’ D’Canter and Kelly ‘Poison’ Mild for their Halloween special with special guest Vanity Nightmare – the only act who’s so scary she doesn’t need an extra name!
Scaryoke
Monday 30 October, 8pm – late
If you fancy having a bash at your favourite Halloween hits then Kevin ‘Killer’ Walsh is on hand with a Thriller selection for Scaryoke.
Halloween with The Vixens
Tuesday 31 October, 9pm – late
If ever an act encapsulated Halloween then it’s these three bitches – sorry, witches. The Vixens will be opening the Book of Shadows, summoning the Dark Lord and coming over all dementor-like. We suggest you bring chocolate and lots of it to this major Halloween happening!
Entry is free
