Sunday Social at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern occupies a unique place on the scene and in our hearts.
Last Sunday was a totally brilliant example of why this is always a special evening of hilarious cabaret and fantastic music. Providing the laughs and songs was the transatlantic dame herself, Charlie Hides, who was on terrific form. He effortlessly mixes up new songs that reference his time of RuPaul’s Drag Race with more of his ever popular impersonations and Lisa Q Jonz even made an appearance. The music was, as always first rate with Simon Le Vans, Liam Chaplin and Sean Sirrs taking us through into Sunday night. A top night all round.
