The RVT Drag Graduation 

The Art of Drag is the highly successful 10-week course run by Michael Twaits – yes, him from the main stage at Pride in London and the host of Pride’s Got Talent – at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern where new cabaret acts learn about the various aspects of cabaret drag. On Wednesday (29 Nov) we all get to see those acts at this special graduation show. It’s always a brilliant night packed with exciting new talent and we can’t recommend it enough. S/Moke House at Backstreet

Brew Hunter presents S/Moke House at Backstreet this Saturday (25 Nov) a new event for London’s hardest playing leathered and rubbered S/Mokers. DJ Rob C plays dirty beats with Meat Rack in the main room and Brew will have his FFattest cigar lit and ready to welcome all like-minded masters, subs, slaves, gimps and S/Mokepigs.

What’s happening at the G&D?

Top of the line turns is what’s happening at the George and Dragon with the magnificent Mrs Moore on Friday (24 Nov) and Eva Iglesias on Saturday. And as if that wasn’t enough on Sunday you get Tanya Hyde, Sandra and someone called The Duchess!

Cabaret at the Old Ship 

This weekend John and the gang at the Old Ship have some great entertainment lined up with Titti La Camp on Saturday (25 Nov) and none other than Saucy Sophie on the Sunday! Tip top or what!

Two Brewers World AIDS Day events

This Sunday (26 Nov) the Two Brewers are teaming up once again with Wandsworth LGBT Forum for their annual World AIDS Day fundraiser for the Wandsworth Oasis Centre. Hosted by Miss Penny this will be a glorious cabaret feast including Mary Mac, Miss Jason, Sandra, Lola Lasagne, Crystal D’Canter, Heart & Soul, The Vixens and Sum Ting Wong. It’s always a great night and it’s a marvellous cause so come down and drop some change in those buckets.  Plus on World AIDS Day itself, Friday 1 December, the one and only DE Experience will be at the Clapham mothership for a special show that will be raising cash for the National AIDS Trust. XXL for GMFA

Next Saturday (2 Dec) Mark and the team at XXL will be holding their annual World AIDS Day party at Pulse. The marvellous Hoxton Whores will be joining the resident DJs to rock the main room and you can expect a host of bears, blokes and hunks of all kinds. Plus the team will be raising money for GMFA with XXL matching £1 for every pound raised.

Ku’s Caps for World AIDS Day

This Saturday (25 Nov) the gang at the Ku Group will be launching three weeks of fundraising for The Food Chain. Each weekend there will be raffles, special drinks on offer and collections on a Sunday at Kabaret. Plus they have a limited number of the ultra cool Ku caps for sale at the venues. Grab one while you can they are gorgeous and all the profits go to The Food Chain.

H2H Fundraiser

Next Sunday (3 Dec) Heather and her team of hard working pixies at Halfway II Heaven are hosting a massive and definitely glittering World AIDS Day Fundraiser. Hosted by Crystal D’Canter and Kelly Mild it will also feature Felix Le Freak, Tanya Hyde, The Vixens, Vanity Nightmare, Ollie James Parr and more, all raising money from GMFA. Oh and it’s also Crystal’s birthday, so probably best to book the Monday off work. Don’t say we didn’t warn you #BlameCrystal.

White Swan Charity Night

For World AIDS Day this year the folk at the White Swan are going back in time to celebrate the 70s and 80s. Next Saturday (2 Dec) is their fundraiser for Positive East with Doctor Woof, Heart & Soul, Saucy Sophie, Krystal Ball and your host Miss Terry Tour.

Miss Hope Springs Christmas a Go-Go

The totally gorgeous Miss Hope Springs will be lugging that grand piano back to Clapham on Friday 8 December and this time she’s bringing her festive sack. Christmas a Go-Go is packed with her own glorious yuletide ditties, packed with more glitter and sparkle than the Lidl’s – sorry, M&S’s – decorations department plus festive stories to raise a chuckle or two.
