Admiral Duncan Charity Night

There’s a gorgeous cabaret line-up this Thursday (30 Nov) at the Admiral Duncan for their Charity Night in aid of the Terrence Higgins Trust. You get Baga Chipz, Cookie Monstar, Sandra and Vickie Vivacious all shaking those money makers from 8pm.

Goosed at the RVT for THT

The really rather splendid Royal Vauxhall Tavern panto for this year, Goosed, opens this Thursday (30 Nov) starring Topsie Redfern and a marvellous cast. On Friday (1 Dec), World AIDS Day, the team at the RVT will be collecting for the Terrence Higgins Trust. So come down, enjoy the craziness of Goosed and sling cash in those buckets. Myra’s Christmas shindig

On Monday (4 Dec) that sparkling bauble of festive joy, Myra DuBois will be bringing her brand new Christmas ‘spectacular’ (her word not ours) to the Grand in Clapham. The seasonly named Ey-Up Myra will feature songs, stories, a sack full of hoots and if we’re really lucky some of her poetry. Get your tickets now at myradubois.co.uk.

Balans World AIDS Day cocktail

The team at our favourite gay eatery Balans Soho Society are bringing back their hugely popular Flash for Freddie World AIDS Day cocktail. Designed as a tribute to the late Freddie Mercury, who died on November 24th 1991 from an AIDS-related illness, this decadent vodka-based cocktail with Crème de Framboise and Prosecco, is garnished with a fresh raspberry and just a touch of shimmering sparkle. It’s on sale now in all Balans restaurants until Friday (1 Dec), costs £10 and all proceeds go to GMFA.

Red Ribbon Cabaret

This Thursday (30 Nov) the team from Wandsworth Oasis present the Red Ribbon Cabaret at Infernos on Clapham High Road from 7pm. Hosted by Son of a Tutu, there’s a brilliant line-up including The Sundaes, Mrs Moore, Sum Ting Wong, the Gay Men’s Dance Company and much more. 70s and 80s at the White Swan 

This Saturday (2 Dec) you can step back in time at the White Swan in Limehouse for their Positive East fundraiser. Hosted by Miss Terry Tour you get some glorious oldies from Doctor Woof, Heart & Soul, Krystal Ball and Saucy Sophie.

Get tested by 56 Dean Street at G-A-Y Bar

This Friday (1 Dec) is the annual World AIDS Day HIV testing event at G-A-Y Bar from midday to 8pm. The nurses and doctors from 56 Dean Street clinic will be there to give you a free test, it only takes a few minutes and G-A-Y will donate £5 for everyone who tests to the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

St Anne’s Church AIDS film screening 

For World AIDS Day on Friday (1 Dec) at St Anne’s Church in Soho at 7pm there’s a special screening at 7pm of the film AIDS: Doctors & Nurses Tell Their Stories followed by a short service of remembrance.

HIV Monologues  

HIV Monologues is the powerful play written by Pat Cash and there is a special performance on Friday for World AIDS Day at the National Gallery Theatre sponsored by BHIVA. Entry is free and you can get details at bhiva.org/world-AIDS-day-2017.aspx.

Pink Singers for NAT  

The wonderful Pink Singers are performing a special concert on Friday (1 Dec) for World AIDS Day to raise money for the National AIDS Trust. Over 50 Pink Singers will be at St Pancras Church, Euston Road, NW1. Ticket donations are £10 on the door or in advance from pinksingers.co.uk.
