The Red Run: Sunday 26 November

The Red Run: Sunday 26 November

The Red Run is the annual World AIDS Day fundraiser organised by Positive East that works on behalf of nearly 30 HIV charities.

This year’s event took place last Sunday in Victoria Park and saw over 1,400 people turn up to run and support those running. National treasure Dame Barbara Windsor was there to cut the ribbon as was the Mayor of London’s Night Czar Amy Lamé to offer her support, plus drag group Denim. It may have been a very cold morning but there was a fantastic vibe and the people taking part raised an incredible £78,848. Well done to the organisers and of course to all those taking part.
