The Royal Vauxhall Tavern Friday 17 November
Last Friday we were at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern to witness the UK’s most dangerous woman in what can best be described as a hostage situation with laughs.
Tracy Barlow, the winner of Drag Idol 2017, is clearly unhinged and her debut full length show, Tracy Barlow Cleans Up Her Act, began with her being pursued around the legendary venue by an enthusiastic police officer and clapped in irons before being led to the stage. Once there we were treated to a section of her twisted musical numbers, some performed at the keyboard including her syphilitic version of Cell Block Tango. The whole show was risky, innovative and extremely funny. Next time she’s let out for good behaviour we recommend to book a visit.
