Anthem – Old Skool Reunion: Christmas Party
Friday 22 December, 10pm – 5am
DJs Andy Almighty and Sean Sirrs are back in town with their Anthem this Friday, where the first 50 paying customers through the door will each receive a free mixed CD! There’ll also be a live PA from club vocal legend Katherine Ellis, who’ll be banging out her hits including ‘When You Touch Me’, ‘Dreaming’ and many more. Duckie
Saturday 23 and 30 Dec, 9pm – 2am
London’s honky tonk purveyor of progressive working class entertainment, Duckie, is back with more queer performance art every Saturday night. This weekend you can look forward to turns from Tori Scott, Poly Amory and Matthew Poxon, while next weekend it’s a night of the songs of Black Elvis.
That Was The Year That Was
Friday 29 December, 10pm – 3am
The satirical cabaret club experience returns to the Royal Vauxhall Tavern this December to (dis)honour 2017. In a year of terrorism and persistent Westminster scandals, #TWTYTW17 looks back on the past year with performances from cabaret extraordinaires including TVTV (winner of The Tavern’s Got Talent 2016), Pi The Mime and special guest Virgin Xtravaganzah.
Plus on the decks is your host David Robson who is joined by DJ Craig Jones playing the best of yesteryear as well as the ‘dead musicians half hour’. Entry is £7.
BEEFMINCE New Year’s Eve: The Big Dong
Sunday 31 December, 9pm – 5am
The BEEFMINCE boys welcome 2018 in style when special guests Virgin Xtravaganzah and Tracy Barlow take to stage at 10pm sharp and deliver a celebratory show, and all in time before midnight! Anthem New Year’s Day Revival with The DE Experience
Monday 1 January, 3pm to midnight
Anthem on New Year’s Day at the RVT is as much a part of our festivities as mince pies and a headache on the 2nd January. Those amazing DJs Simon Le Vans, Andy Almighty and Sean Sirrs will be joined by the one and only totally unsinkable DE Experience live on stage at 5.30pm. Get those tickets now.
