ABBA: Super Troupers – The Exhibition

ABBA fans are in for a mahoosive treat because the exhibition known as ABBA: Super Troupers – The Exhibition is now running at the Southbank Centre until the end of April. A group tour of the show in Royal Festival Hall, which lasts for approximately one hour, allows you to explore nine immersive rooms showcasing the music, lyrics and lives of one of the world’s most unforgettable bands. The Two Brewers’s not-so-dry January

On Thursday 4 January this issue’s Me Myself and I contributor, Tanya Hyde (see page 38) and DJ Liam Chaplin team up for more fun and music at another Thursday Club. Miss Jason and Phil Marriott are back on the Friday, KY Kelly and Chris Brogan keep your Saturday night busy, and Sundays return to normal (whatever that means) with Power of 3 veterans Miss Jason, Sandra and Mary Mac.

Shows galore at the RVT

The first weekend of the New Year kicks off at the RVT with another camp and glorious evening from the LipSinkers on Friday. Doors open at 9pm and the shows start at 10.30pm prompt. On Saturday the Duckie team welcomes Edythe Wooley and Le Fil to the stage, and the following afternoon the Sunday Social team is back with a special performance from Drag Race Season 9 star Charlie Hides plus music from DJs Liam Chaplin, Simon Le Vans and Sean Sirrs.

Go big at Halfway

The Halfway team welcome you back to their four walls for the first weekend of the New Year with Martha D’Arthur and Miss Jason on stage at 8pm and 10pm respectively on Friday 5 January. Saturday sees Mrs Moore, Rose Garden and Heart & Soul take to the stage, while those brassy birds CK, aka Crystal D’Canter and Kelly Mild, take you on another musical journey on Sunday afternoon from 3.30pm.

Enjoy a drag fest at the Dunky

It may be a new year but Sandra’s STD has still not cleared up and she’s back at the Admiral Duncan on Thursday 4 January to regale you with stories from her festive holiday. Miss Penny and Tanya Hyde are on stage for your viewing and aural pleasure on the Friday, followed by performances from Vicki Vivacious and Topsie Redfern on Saturday. And the weekend draws to a close with songs and shenanigans from Kara Van Park and Baga Chipz from 6pm. Phew!
