Two Brewers weekend
It’s all go go go at the Two Brewers this weekend with another world-class cabaret line-up on offer. The crazy starts full blast on Thursday (11 Jan) when Lisa Q Jones, (aka Charlie Hides) arrives in a cloud of hairspray and gossip. Friday sees that demure demigod Sandra on stage and Saturday it’s Drag Idol champ Danny Beard. Sunday (14 Jan) the weekend climaxes in the gorgeous hot mess that is the Power of Three with Miss Jason, Mary Mac and Sandra. Wahoo!
Have you discovered the Light Lounge?
Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, you must know that The Light Lounge is the totes gorge cocktail bar from the Ku Group that is located just above the Leicester Square venue. It’s a swish dream boat of a bar with friendly staff and some lush tasting cocktails – trust us, we’ve tried most of them!
Duke of Wellington
We love the Welly! There’s always a fun and sexy crowd, with a warm welcome from Oliver and his team. Plus don’t forget they have Bingo with Sheila Simonds every Tuesday and the weekly quiz with either Martha D’Arthur or Topsie Redfern every Wednesday. And it’s now even cuddlier following its December makeover.
Cabaret at the George and Dragon
The Duchess and her minions have another great weekend ahead at the George and Dragon in Greenwich. Friday (12 Jan) it’s the one and only Mandy Gap, while Sandra is there on Saturday with three acts, Mary Mac, Miss Jason and Tanya Hyde bringing up the rear on Sunday.
Limehouse laughs at the Old Ship
John and the gang at the Old Ship in Limehouse have more amazing cabaret this weekend. Tiffaney Wells will be doing her thing on Saturday (13 Jan) alongside DJ James Armour while on Sunday there’s more music and laughs from Davina Sparkle and DJ Matty B.
Open Mic at the White Swan
If you think you’ve got the musical chops to sing at the White Swan then head down there this Thursday (11 Jan) or any Thursday, where they have a super fun Open Mic Night each week with the lovely CJ on piano and it’s hosted by Jackie De Ripper.
Get naked at Nudity
Why not start your weekend by getting naked in a club packed with other starkers blokes? This Friday (12 Jan) the lads from Nudity are back at Union in Vauxhall for their next bash, complete with amazing DJs, nude shenanigans and dancing from 10pm to 4am.
Pixie’s Birthday at the Victoria
This Saturday (13 Jan) the team at the Victoria in Walthamstow will be getting out the balloons and cake as they celebrate promotor Pixie’s birthday. There will be a special show from cabaret legend Dave Lynn and DJ Matty will be spinning the hits. Plus it’s free entry – so sounds like a party to us!
Boys in the Buff
Boys in the Buff is the all singing concert show with a load of naked boys! Do we really need to say much more? Back by popular demand, Boys in the Buff – the Concert returns to the King’s Head Theatre in Islington featuring a riotous evening of fabulous entertainment including a finale where the boys really do reveal all. It’s on from this Thursday (11 Jan) to 3 February. Tickets from kingsheadtheatre.com
