No one is too old for a good night clubbing and sometimes to go further afield can produce a wonderful and exhilarating night out. Such is the case with Dan Hagley’s the Pink Walrus held on the last Friday of the month in Forest Hill. It was clear that Dan can put on a good show and with the night hosted by The Deldonnas, the evening was quick to get going.
The pulsing disco beats had young and old getting their respective grooves on, me included, who on recognising one of my favourite songs from the heyday of NYC, LA and even the UK’s own soul and disco scene, took my partner on to the floor to trip the light fantastic and enjoy Forest Hill’s only LGBT+ night.
I loved The Pink Walrus and would encourage people to dress up, and get into their groove. Right on, right on! Get down and boogie!
Their next event is THE PINK WALRUS TALENT SHOW on Friday 30th March! The gang are looking for weird and wonderful acts and ENTHUSIASM IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN ABILITY. Top prize is £50. If anyone wants to perform please ask them to email [email protected]
