Next weekend the Brewers will be action packed as usual and highlights include the brilliant Charlie Hides as the bonkers Lisa Q Jones on Friday night, plus tunes from DJs Demon and Liam Chaplin.
Goodbye Mr Producer – Spike Rhodes Tribute
Sunday 25 March
Next Sunday some of the scene’s biggest cabaret stars will be coming together to pay tribute to the late Spike Rhodes and also to help raise money for his funeral. See next week’s Boyz for full details.
Easter Weekend at the Brewers
Thursday 29 March – Monday 2 April
Easter is one of the biggest weekends of the year with two – count them – two bank holidays. The crazy starts on Thursday (29 Mar) with the launch of Drag Idol 2018 and a special show by The Cheeky Girls. Charlie Hides is back in Clapham but this time as himself on Easter Sunday at a special Power of Four alongside Miss Jason, Mary Mac and Sandra. The Easter weekend ends with the special Pride fundraiser on Bank Holiday Monday hosted by Sandra, Miss Penny and Miss Jason with a host of glorious cabaret stars including Tanya Hyde, Rose Garden, Baga Chipz, Sum Ting Wong and more.
Doctor Whosical
Thursday 5 – Saturday 7 April
Two Box Productions cleaned up at this year’s Boyz Awards picking up the gold for Best Play or Musical and Best Panto. They have already had one sellout set of shows this year and the week after Easter they are back for an adventure in space and time with the Doctor Whosical, starring the Universe’s favourite Time Lord and a selection of his/her companions like you have never seen them before.
