XXL St Patrick’s Day: Saturday 17 March
There were two excellent reasons for a big bad throw-down on Saturday night at Pulse and those bears and blokes at XXL made sure it certainly was.
It was, of course St Patrick’s Day and the Southbank super club was decked out in shamrocks and the welcoming green of the Emerald Isle and we spotted quite a few rugby fans decked out in the Irish teams colours. It was also XXL owner Mark Ames’ birthday bash and he was in full party mode especially when a delicious looking cake was brought out. The music was, as always first class with Fat Tony joining the dream team of Paul Morrell, Alex Logan in the main room, while David Robson and Joe Egg found a pot gold of hits in the Fur Lounge.
