Pride’s Got Talent to host its two Finals

Pride’s Got Talent has been busy these last few weeks, but now the time has come for it to hosts its two finals – the cabaret one this Sunday (22 Apr) and the music one the following Sunday (29 Apr). Both finals will take place at the Charing Cross Theatre and the winners of each will perform on the Trafalgar Square stage at Pride in London on Saturday 7 July. 56 Dean Street launches new web series 

Soho-based sexual health clinic 56 Dean Street has recently launched a new web series called The Grass Is Always Grindr. Commissioned by 56 Dean Street, generously supported by Wandsworth Oasis, The Grass Is Always Grindr reflects the complexities of modern gay sex lives, exploring apps, PrEP, barebacking, loneliness and self-esteem across three parts. Written by Patrick Cash and produced by Brown Boy Productions and Dragonflies Productions, the series follows a young gay man, Joe, who is a master at taking selfies. He spends his free time trying to up his followers on Insta or looking for guys on Grindr. One of those shags turns out to be Adam, a handsome boxer who’s still in the closet… The Grass Is Always Grindr has had a great reaction so far with over 7,500 views in a week plus some really positive feedback. Your weekend at Halfway

Drag queens are the order of the day at Halfway II Heaven this weekend when Dave Lynn hits the stage on Friday (20 Apr) from 10pm. On Saturday you get Mrs Moore at 4pm, Rose Garden at 5pm and Miss Thunderpussy at 10pm, while on Sunday it’s CK Sunday with the delicious Crystal D’Canter and Kelly Mild.

The False Prophet Xtravaganzah

The Virgin Mary, aka Virgin Xtravaganzah, is back at The RVT with another #IconicWithChrist line up on Wednesday (25 Apr) from 8.30pm. Expect all new – virgin, if you will – material from the star of the show as well as a showcasing of some of London’s finest talents including circus, fire and dance performer Sasha Flexy, burlesque star Rudy Jee Van Jee, singer Joe Morose, breakdancer Azara, and drag queen extraordinaire, DJ and now stand up comedian Tete Bang! The Cocoa Butter Club’s Spring Ball

Her Upstairs welcomes The Cocoa Butter Club back to its gorgeous four walls this Saturday (21 Apr) when hostess Sadie Sinner hosts her Spring Ball from 6pm.
