XXL Birmingham is back at The Core

If Birmingham-based bears and blokes are what you’re after next Friday (20 Apr) then the only place to be is XXL Birmingham at The Core. Kicking off at 10pm, expect a a solid six hours of non-stop house anthems from DJ Paul Morrell as a crowd of the Midlands’ finest get up close and personal with each other. Drag galore at Sundowners Margate

There’s a medley of marvellous drag acts set to take to the stage at Sundowners in Margate over the next few weeks. This Saturday (14 Apr) Vanity Nightmare is your star turn, while the following Saturday (21 Apr) it’s Scottish powerhouse Mary Mac who’ll be the entertainment at manager Duncan’s birthday bash from 11pm, where entry is free before 9pm or just £3 after. Then on Thursday 26 April it’s the venue’s first Drag Idol 2018 heat before April’s Saturday nights draw to a close with the fab Lola Lasagne and her hot boys in town for one night only on the 28th.

Woof at Eagle Cardiff

Cardiff’s best bear night, Woof, is back at Eagle Cardiff this Saturday (14 Apr) hosted by Andrew, aka Windmill, with free entry all night! There’ll also be free shots, free bar snacks and sweets, and furry, friendly fun on the dancefloor.

WTF at OMG Sheffield

OMG Sheffield is where it’s at every Friday when WTF serves up £1.50 drinks all night long. On Saturday there’s more fun to be had, plus apply for an OMG rewards card to get discounted entry on the night! Then on Sundays roast dinners are just £8.50, meaning you can recover from the weekend in style.

Bear’s Night at Greenhouse Darlaston 

Any bears visiting Birmingham for XXL next weekend are likely to also head to Greenhouse Darlaston’s very popular sauna-based Bear’s Night next Saturday (21 Apr). Open to hirsute men and their admirers, expect a strictly-no-towels-to-be-worn rule to be enforced throughout the venue (grrr!) plus there’ll be a free buffet for those who want something extra to nibble on aside from their new friend’s ear. Infinity Bar to land in Brighton

There’s an exciting new LGBT bar coming to the south coast when Infinity Bar opens at 129 St James’s Street later this month. We’re told to expect a fresh approach and a unique twist to Brighton’s LGBT scene.
