Treat yourself this week at the much loved queer space The RVT in Vauxhall

The Royal Vauxhall Tavern is the much loved queer space that was voted Boyz readers’ favourite cabaret venue this year. Each and every week there’s a diverse range of different nights on offer, and he’s a taster of what’s happening in the next week.

Pride’s Got Talent – Cabaret Semi-Final 

Thursday 12 April, 7pm – midnight

This is the second cabaret semi-final of this year’s Pride’s Got Talent and it’s shaping up to be a fantastic night. Hosted by Michael Twaits, with a fine selection of judges, come and see who goes through.

Female Masculinity Appreciation Society!

Friday 13 April, 8pm – 3am

An evening in celebration of female masculinity from the team at Wotever World with arm wrestling, cabaret shows from Benjamin Butch, Gorgeous Michael and Billie Butch, plus super hot DJs bringing the party tunes.

Duckie

Saturday 14 April, 9pm – 2am

Saturdays would be a duller night without the glorious queerfest that is Duckie at The RVT. Hosted by the lovely Amy Lamé with music from The Readers Wifes, Duckie always features a mega fun crowd of reprobates.

Sunday Social with The DE Experience 

Sunday 15 April, 3pm – midnight

Sunday Social is a unique mix of jaw-droopingly good cabaret and marvellous DJs. This Sunday it’s the return of the magnificent DE Experience alongside DJs Simon Le Vans, Liam Chaplin, Sean Sirrs and more.

The Big Bingo Show

Monday 16 April, 7pm – midnight

Hosted by the bearded wonder that is Timberlina, this weekly bingo session is – how can we put this? – absolutely bonkers. It’s huge fun, and you never know exactly what is going to happen and what you could win.

Bar Wotever

Tuesday 17 April, 7pm – midnight

Bar Wotever is a weekly celebration of performers of every kind you can possibly imagine. It’s diverse, glorious, huge fun and all are welcome.

Miss Coco Puru and Tracy Barlow

Wednesday 18 April, 6pm – midnight

This Wednesday you get two amazing and totally different shows on the same night at The RVT. Kicking off with the first of three shows from Miss Coco Puru, the queen with an acid wit, impeccable hospitality and the iconic red-flicked wig. The second show of the night starts at 9.30pm and is none other than the UK’s most wanted woman, Tracy Barlow, in her new show, Unleashed. Expect the unexpected, the perverse, the outrageous and some show tunes as you’ve never heard them.
