Halfway II Heaven goes Transatlantic

This May Day bank holiday weekend Heather, Marc and the whole gorgeous team at the Boyz Award-winning Halfway II Heaven will be getting out the stars and stripes as they come over all transatlantic with a host of American superstars joining the cabaret residents at this most beloved of bars.

Martha and Marti

Friday 4 May, midday – 3am

Kickstart your bank holiday weekend with cabaret from two amazing acts at Halfway. The crazy starts at 8pm with Drag Idol winner Martha D’Arthur flying the Union Jack followed at 10pm by the first special guest of the weekend, Marti Gould Cummings, live and direct from the Big Apple, she’s one of New York’s finest drag stars and not to be missed.

Saturday Cabaret

Saturday 5 May, midday – 3am

There’s nowhere quite like Halfway on a Saturday afternoon as the cabaret bunker redefines what you think Saturdays were made for. For this special weekend the fun starts at 3pm when London’s very own transatlantic dame, the one and only Charlie Hides, steps up to the mic. Charlie’s followed by who else but Rose Garden adding that Belfast twist to the afternoon at 5pm. The quality continues at 10pm with the gorgeous soul music of Heart & Soul and DJ Justin Swift blasting out  the pop hits until 3am.

CK Sunday UK and USA

Sunday 6 May, midday – late

CK Sundays is the much loved cabaret showdown that rocks Halfway every weekend from 3.30pm and this bank holiday weekend they are getting an American injection along with some very special homegrown guests as well. Hosted by the gorgeous Kelly Mild, this packed day of fun will include the amazing Delighted Tobehere, one of the US of A’s most versatile drag superstars. She has been on America’s Got Talent, performed on Broadway and has performed all over the world – oh and she’s fecking hilarious too. Also joining Kelly will be Vanity Nightmare, The Vixens and last but not least, the mighty Sandra.

Bank Holiday Monday Pop Anthems

Monday 7 May, midday – late

On bank holiday Monday the lovely DJ Jonny Pablo will be mixing up a brilliant mix of pop anthems from the UK and USA – think Britney vs Cheryl or Madonna vs Adele. Sounds like a party to us.

Halfway II Heaven, 7 Duncannon Street, Charing Cross, WC2.
