XXL Birmingham moves weekend for Birmingham Pride

Attention all bears, blokes, chunks, hunks and chasers: for this month only, XXL Birmingham is moving from its usual slot (the third Friday of the month) to the last Friday in May (next Friday 25th) to coincide with Birmingham Pride, allowing you to start your weekend in fur-tastic style. Kicking off at 9pm at The Core, expect a solid six hours of non-stop house anthems from DJ Paul Morrell as a crowd of the Midlands’ finest – plus some visitors in town for Birmingham Pride – get up close and personal with each other. X marks the spot at Essex Pride

Essex Pride takes place in Central Park Chelmsford on Saturday 16 June with stunning acts including Liberty X, former X Factor contestants Freddy Parker and Sam Callahan, AND one of Simon Cowell’s bezzies, Sinitta, all taking to the stage. Also on the line up is a Dolly Parton tribute act, Liss Jones as Britney Spears, Spice Girls tribute act Spice Forever, Stephanie Von Clitz and loads more. Your bank holiday weekend at Sundowners 

The team at Sundowners present a bank holiday of epic proportions next weekend. On Saturday (26 May) former Boyz cover star and Boyz Award winner, the amazing Jacqui Swallows, will be live on stage from 11pm with the party continuing until a cool 3am. And then on Sunday, you get not one but two divas taking to the stage in the form of Kaiya at 10pm and Eva Iglesias at 11pm. Entry is free and once again it’s open until a late 3am.

The Yard in Coventry 

Your weekend at The Yard in Coventry starts early each and every week with Karaoke Thursdays and continues with superstar cabaret from some of the UK’s best drag acts – next Friday (25 May) the fabulous Spangles Galore takes to the stage for songs and bantz.  The following day is always The Big Saturday Night Out with music blasting out across the dancefloor until a mega-late 4am, and your weekend ends in style with Sunday Service and a few gentle games of bingo. And best of all, entry to the bar is always FREE!

Free for all at Coventry Pride

Coventry Pride takes place on 9 and 10 June in University Square opposite Coventry Cathedral and entry is free for everyone! Once inside, expect world-class entertainment from the likes of Nicky French, Corey Cooper, Amrick Channa, Freddy Parker, Dr Bev, Lloyd Daniels and many more across three stages. All aboard the Hogwarts Express to Kiki Manchester

This weekend, Kiki bar in Manchester is reintroducing its An Evening With… nights, kicking off on Sunday (20 May) with Blaq Ivory, who’ll be on stage form 10pm. Expect an evening full of laughs, 2-4-£5 drink deals and music from DJ Toni Lee. And then next bank holiday weekend, from Friday (25 May), the bar hosts a Hogwarts themed for day spectacular, complete with magical decor and free entry all weekend.
