The Two Brewers Bank Holiday Weekend extravaganza in Clapham

Each and every weekend of the year is special at the Two Brewers in Clapham, but there’s something extra magical on a bank holiday weekend, with that party vibe turned up to the max. Here’s a look at what’s on over this May Day weekend at the mega venue that in the Two Brewers.

Marti Gould Cummings

Thursday 3 May, 5pm – 3am

Marti Gould Cummings is one of New York’s most infamous and popular drag queens who has appeared in Broadway productions as well as TV shows in the US. The Village Voice described her as ‘the love child of Johnny Weir and Liza Minnelli’. This Thursday she makes her debut at the Brewers on stage at midnight.

Ruggercub

Friday 4 May, 5pm – 4am

Thank God it’s Friday and even more when it’s the start of a long weekend AND even, even more when it’s Ruggercub at the Two Brewers. Those frisky rugger buggers the Kings Cross Steelers are back for their monthly clubbing shenanigans with DJs Demon and Phil Marriott plus cabaret from the explosive Tiara Thunderpussy. Plus the night starts at 9.30pm with a screening of RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Delighted Tobehere

Saturday 5 May, 5pm – 4am

For this bank holiday weekend there’s another American drag superstar taking to the Brewers stage when the brilliant Delighted Tobehere arrives in Clapham. She’s fast, she’s funny, she’s an illusionist, live vocalist and comedian, and she was on America’s Got Talent in 2015.

The Power of Four

Sunday 6 May, 5pm – 4am

There’s no school tomorrow so the Brewers is open extra late to 4am – wahoo! And another American star is on the bill, but this time it’s one we know just a tad better; our own superstar, Charlie Hides as Lisa Q Jones who is the special guest alongside Miss Jason, Mary Mac, and Sandra. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.

Bank Holiday Monday Special 

Monday 7 May, 5pm – 2am

For bank holiday Monday you get a special extra serving of amazing cabaret with Miss Jason and Mary Mac back again, plus very special guest Karen Dalton as the hilarious Nan. And as if that wasn’t enough, showbiz royalty, the voice of a thousand fags, Mrs Moore will be on knob twiddling duties.
