Last Wednesday was the Drag Idol Wild Card heat at the Admiral Duncan hosted by the gorgeous Crystal D’Canter.
This was the last heat of any kind before the Grand Final next Friday (29 Jun) at the Two Brewers and it was where the judges had to pick the fourth finalist. The night featured the three runners up from the semi finals and three acts chosen by the Drag Idol committee. Sadly Kate Butch had to drop out before the night, but we were treated to five amazing performances by Felix Le Freak, Donna Matrix, Poppy Cock, Pat Clutcher and Baby Ru.
After a long deliberation the judges made a design but it was not revealed on the night. In fact, the place you can find out first will be the cover of Boyz next week, when the fourth finalist will be revealed alongside Victoria Scone from Central Station, Vivienne Lynsey from Eden Bar and Zayn Phallic from The RVT, all of whom you can see at the Grand Final on Friday 29 June at the Two Brewers.
