Circa: The Club

Unless you’ve been in a coma you must know that there’s a hot new club in town – Circa: The Club opened two weekends ago to rave reviews and packed crowds. This gorgeous new late night venue is open from 11pm on Friday (22 Jun) and Saturday, is located next to Embankment Tube station and has everything you could want in a swish new destination including some of the best DJs in town.

The Golden Girls are back at the Two Brewers 

This Wednesday (20 Jun) and Thursday, our favourite sassy ladies are back in Clapham when Golden Girls – A Musical: Episode Three opens at the Two Brewers. The first episode won the Boyz Award this year as the Best Play or Musical of 2017 and this promises to be just as funny with Rose Garden as Dorothy, Mrs Moore as Sophia, Stephanie Von Clitz as Rose and, for this episode, Blanche will be played by Tia Kofi. #BlackandGay 2

The Impulse team are back this Thursday (21 Jun) for #BlackandGay 2 at MeWe The Parlour, 13 Soho Square, W1. Hosted by Jazz and Taz, this is an event to encourage the black gay community to come together for discussion and celebration. Book your tickets at eventbrite.com

It’s all fizzing at The RVT 

Even by their own high standards, the team at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern have a dazzling weekend ahead this week. It kicks off in amazing style on Thursday (21 Jun) with The Fizz, (the band formerly known as Bucks Fizz) making a triumphant return to the much loved venue. Friday is Anthem – Back to the 90s with very special guest dance diva Mark Kiani and Saturday is, of course, Duckie. It all comes to a tartan climax at Sunday Social when the gorgeous Mary Mac joins DJs Simon Le Vans, Liam Chaplin and Sean Sirrs.

Cybil’s Slumber Party

Babes, we are all invited to the White Swan this Saturday (23 Jun) because the one and only Cybil is having a sleepover! Get dressed up in your finest nightwear and head to Limehouse for Cybil’s House Slumber Party with performers Felix Le Freak, Shakona Fire, Bethany Haven and more. Shania Pain debuts at Halfway 

Shania Pain was a Drag Idol finalist last year and has been ripping up venues across the UK ever since. This Friday (22 Jun) she makes her debut at Halfway II Heaven and you can expect brilliant songs and some casual smut. Saturday is the holy trinity of Mrs Moore, Rose Garden and The Vixens while on Sunday it’s all about CK Sunday with Crystal D’Canter and Kelly Mild.

Comptons World Cup 

Apparently there’s a big sporting thing happening in Russia for the next month – who knew? Well, actually those fit fellas at Comptons did and you can watch all the key World Cup matches live on the big screen upstairs at the venue we call the Grand Dame of Soho. Cabaret at Greenwich   

There’s another tasty buffet of cabaret talent on offer from The Duchess this weekend at the George and Dragon in Greenwich. Friday (22 Jun) is the filth bag that is Sandra, Saturday is trash queen Baga Chipz and on Sunday you get three acts, Mary Mac, Toni Sinclair and Miss Jason. Plus amazing drinks offers too!
