Life’s a beach at the Two Brewers 

Hot new club night Peach launches at the Two Brewers this Friday (10 Jun) with an ‘at the Beach’ beachwear eleganza special from 10pm. Starring DJs Sum Ting Wong and Tia Kofi spinning joyful pop-filled sets, come flamboyantly dressed and get ready for ballroom-style lip-sync battles and jaw dropping performances. Socialise with the one and only Ms Myra DuBois

Rotherham’s least celebrated daughter Myra DuBois takes to the stage at The RVT for another fantastic show this Sunday (10 Jun). Along with music from resident DJs Liam Chaplin, Simon Le Vans and Sean Sirrs, ‘her off the telly’ Ms DuBois will be whipping the Sunday Social crowd into a frenzy with an onslaught of ‘glorious’ songs, exquisite dance moves and barbed one liners.

Light Lounge cocktails

For this year’s spring/summer menu, the guys at the Light Lounge have teamed up with none other than the Cocktail Trading Company’s Andy Mill. As well as the bar’s classic offerings, new additions for the summer months include the Yellow Mellow Bellini, the Chamomile Sherry Cobbler, the basil-infused Green Aviation, and the Sweet & Sour Batida. Polaktastic at Dalston Superstore

While the Polish government is busy unqueering Poland, and the British one is Brexiting Eastern European migrants, a group of queer Polish migrants come together to talk, drink and dance at Dalston Superstore on Tuesday (12 Jun) from 8pm. Entry is free, there’ll be music from DJs Polanski and Marie Malarie, performance art and a photography exhibition, and everyone is welcome.

XXL Mid-Week

Picture this: it’s Wednesday evening, the working week is dragging its sorry arse towards the weekend and you’re this far <––––––> from packing up and heading to some far flung place where you can surround yourself by gorgeous, horned-up men. But wait: there’s no need to leave London, because the XXL team serves up a mid-week session packed with ice cold beer, sizzling tunes and a sexy, social vibe each and every Wednesday. Boner! Sorry, bona!

Halfway’s cracking hat trick 

Your weekend at cabaret powerhouse Halfway II Heaven kicks off with Drag Idol’s second London semi final on Friday (8 Jun). Hosted by Crystal D’Canter and Kelly Mild, venue champions from bars including Charles Street Tap, Her Upstairs, OMG Plymouth, Kings Arms Swansea, Marys Cardiff, The RVT and the Two Brewers will battle it out for a place in the grand final. On Saturday (9 Jun), Mrs Moore takes to the stage at 3pm, followed by Tanya Hyde at 5pm and The Vixens at 10pm, while on Sunday Crystal and birthday girl Kelly are back from 3.30pm with a Pride in London fundraiser and a leaving party for Tanya Hyde, who’s pissing off to Gran Canaria for a few months. Double the trouble at the Old Ship

Over at the Old Ship in Limehouse this Saturday (9 Jun) you get an amazing show from the Brighton belle that is Drag With No Name from 9.30pm, while on Sunday the fantastic Saucy Sophie takes to the stage for more fun and games, again from 9.30pm.

The Duchess welcomes you to the G&D

There’s a huge line up of world-class talent at the George and Dragon down in Greenwich this weekend, starting with the gorgeous Crystal D’Canter taking over the Piano Bar on Thursday (8 Jun). On Friday that old hoe – sorry, pro – Lola Lasagne hits the stage, Saturday sees Kelly Wilde and Tony Sinclair tear up your evening, while Sunday Tony is back along with Mary Mac and Miss Jason. Never let it be said that The Duchess doesn’t give you more bang for your buck.

Ghost About the House at the Kings Head Theatre is a hilarious and sexy gay comedy set in a grand Islington house in both 1936 and 2016. Written by Matthew Campling it’s on from Thursday (7 Jun) and tickets are on sale at kingsheadtheatre.com.
