Halfway II Heaven is the much loved glittering cabaret bunker that is literally on the edge of Trafalgar Square and it’s at the epicentre of Pride in London this weekend. Its Pride Saturdays are the stuff of legend and if you haven’t spent at least a couple of hours there for Pride you really have missed out. Here’s what you can expect this weekend.
Pre-Pride Party
Friday 6 July, midday – 3am
Get yourself in the mood for Pride with a double helping of two tasty cabaret dishes, both sweet and sour, but equally delicious. First up at 8pm it’s Martha D’Arthur and at 10pm it’s the one and only Sandra.
Pride at Halfway
Saturday 7 July, midday – 3am
There really is nowhere on Earth quite like Halfway II Heaven on Pride Saturday. The cabaret starts at 2pm and it’s an all-dancing, all-singing, high-heeled, teased-wig, eye-lashed, songs-from-shows, and laugh-till-you-burst cabaret spectacular that will keep you entertained all day. Hosted by Martha D’Arthur, Rose Garden and The Vixens, while DJs Little John and Justin Swift twiddle the knobs, the line up includes (deep breath): CK, Lola Lasagne, Miss Penny, Sandra, Mrs Moore, Ripley, KY Kelly, Vanity Nightmare, Chanel No 5, Dr Woof, Stephanie Von Clitz, Jade Justine, Shania Pain, Marsha Mallow, Vicki Vivacious, Miranda Jane, Kelly Wilde, Shae G’Day, Krystal Ball, Chamonix Aspen, Heart & Soul, Wilma Ballsdrop, and the 2018 Drag Idol winner, Felix Le Freak, who won representing Halfway!
Pride Hangover CK Sunday
Sunday 8 July, midday – midnight
If you’re feeling a little ‘special’ on Sunday then head back to Halfway where CK will be on stage at 3.30pm. No doubt Crystal and Kelly will understand how you feel – in fact they may have had a sherry or two the previous day as well – so let them guide you through Sunday afternoon with some disco tunes and friendly banter.
