Prides around the UK

Leeds Pride is on Sunday 5th August

Next weekend people of all kinds from all over the country will converge in the city of Leeds for its annual Pride celebration. Here’s a look at what’s on offer at this massive celebration.

Leeds Pride has been running since 2006 and is Yorkshire’s biggest celebration and gathering of LGBT+ people. This year’s festival takes place in the city centre next Sunday (5 Aug).

The day starts at Millennium Square from 11.30am with the Parade starting at 2pm through the city centre, ending up at Lower Briggate, which is where you will find the main Pride area right in the middle of the gay quarter near all the gay venues.

There’s loads going on including a main stage that will feature acts such as Rozalla, Baby D, Jordan Fox, Soraya Vivian, Surie, Bang Bang Romeo, Corey Cooper and many more. Plus there’s also DJs, a fun fair, market stalls, food area, a family space and loads of happy, smiling people.
