The Divine Miss M at The Yard Coventry

If you’re in Coventry, namely at award-winning bar The Yard, get ready for a glittering start to your weekend when The Divine Miss M takes to the stage on Friday evening (13 Jul). The Yard was voted Best New Bar, and Best Bar and Best Nightclub outside Birmingham in the Midlands Zone Readers Awards, so it’s pretty much a guaranteed super-fun night out. If you can’t make this Friday then fret not, because next weekend (20 Jul) it’s the incredible Fanny Burns live on stage.

Enjoy a cool glass of Linda Bacardi

Pub crawl fanatic and lover of distilled spirits, Linda Bacardi, pauses for a refuel at Sundowners in Margate this Saturday (14 Jul). Expect the tongue lashing of your life when Ms Barcardi, who will be making her debut this particular stage after 9pm, slurs – sorry, sings and lip syncs – her way through a fabulous set of her favourite hits. Entry is free before 9pm or just £3 after. Plus, don’t forget the bar hosts Karaoke Sundays every Sunday from 9pm.

Taste the rainbow at Margate Pride

Following last year’s mega-successful event, Margate Pride is back bigger than ever on Saturday 11 August. The Paradee leaves Walpole Bay Hotel lawns at 2pm and heads down to the main sandy seafront at Marine Drive. Speakers from 3pm include Sue Sanders (LGBT History Month), Lady Phyll (UK Black Pride) and Charlie Craggs (writer My Trans Sisters), while the street party sees performers, live music from Rebecca Taylor, The Margate Super Group, Grace Shush (Miss Sink The Pink 2018) and the Margate Community Choir, plus Scissor Sister Ana Matronic DJs her Dreamland Sunset Session from 6pm. More bang for your Burke at Bristol Pride

Bristol Pride is on this Saturday 14 July, with the Parade gathering in Castle Park before it makes it way down to the Bristol Amphitheatre and We The Curious’ Millennium Square.Once there, on the main stage you’ll see acts such as Alexandra Burke, Republica, Lloyd Daniels, Zoe Alexander as Pink and many more, while on the cabaret you get drag megastars including Son of a Tutu, Mary Mac, Baga Chipz, Lola Lasagne plus loads more. There’ll be a dance performance stage too, as well as community and family areas, drag queen bingo, food stalls and so much more. Fly your flag for Croydon PrideFest 

For a third year running, Croydon is set to celebrate its LGBT+ community with a fun-filled day this Saturday (14 Jul). This year’s PrideFest Parade theme is #FlyMyPride, with Croydon’s multicultural community encouraged to bring along the flag of a country attendees love, and the march starts at 11.30am at Croydon High Street (North End, outside Marks and Spencer) and makes its way up to the main event site in Wandle Park. There, hosts Asifa Lahore and Christopher Haul will introduce acts including 10-piece steel band Endurance, singer Angie Brown, tribute band Abalicious, cabaret performer and singer Danny Beard, comedian Captain Anchor, and many more. Don’t miss out at Missing Bar 

Start your weekend with a pop of a cork his Friday (13 Jul) at Missing Bar Birmingham where bottles of prosecco are only £12.99 from 7pm. Later that same night, DJ Mike Emery and hostess Gavina take over for Hitman and Her, while on Saturday it’s non-stop disco hits with Your Disco Needs You. And then on Sunday the fab LaQueeta hosts Saucy Sundays with double cabaret at 8.30pm and 10.30pm.
