Seven Days for Pride Weekend: Circa: The Club, Comptons, the White Swan, The Yard, Prowler Red, George and Dragon and more

Circa Soho and Circa: The Club

Circa Soho has fast become one of the best venues to party outside at Pride in London, and this Saturday (7 Jul) its legendary street party kicks off at 1pm and keeps jumping right through until 4am, with resident DJs turning some of the hottest house, pop and R&B in town. And if that wasn’t enough fun for one day, over in the recently launched Circa: The Club from 11pm, DJs Sam Londt, Jonathan Bestley and Adam Turner deliver London’s newest LGBT venue’s first Pride celebration until a super-late 5am.

Carry on partying at Comptons

The Grande Dame of Soho, Comptons, helps you celebrate Pride in London in style this Saturday (7 Jul) when resident DJ Alex Eugenio welcomes special guest Dom Top to the decks for a day packed full with disco, soulful and classic house. Expect both floors to be packed with revellers of every persuasion and a super-late closing time.

The Yard Soho

The Yard is one of our favourite places to hang out all year round, but when it comes to Pride in London weekend it really is one of the best bars in town. This Pride the venue hosts an all-day party like no other, complete with great music, an extra bar in the courtyard, special Pimm’s and mojito jugs, free entry and a late 3am closing time. Throw in a hot-to-trot bar team and The Yard will be one of the most coveted places to been seen this weekend, so get there early!

Balans’ Pride Breakfast

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and with all the Pride in London festivities ahead of you on Saturday (7 Jul) why not indulge with a champagne breakfast at Balans? Your feast awaits at 60-62 Old Compton Street in Soho and is £42.50 per person complete with Lanson Rosé Champagne. Or, if you’d rather recover the day after, Balans champagne breakfasts are available on Sunday as well. Booking is highly recommended – do so by making your reservation by calling 0207 439 2189.

On Pride in London night there’s fun from the one and only Myra DuBois, while on Sunday your entertainment comes in the form of Dave Lynn, Mary Mac and Miss Jason. Drags galore at the Admiral Duncan

Right in the middle of Old Compton Street, the Admiral Duncan is always a hot house of cabaret acts, but this Pride we reckon it surpasses even its own record with this avalanche of sequins and feathers. Expect fun on stage from Martha D’Arthur, Crystal D’Canter, Vicki Vivacious, Miss Jason, Sum Ting Wong, Sandra and loads more.

Pride night at The Victoria

Those of you heading back to North London after the West End Pride celebrations on Saturday night will be happy to know that cabaret icon Dave Lynn will be live on stage at The Victoria in Walthamstow from midnight. Introducing Prowler Red

Prowler Red is the new Soho-based shop from the guys at the iconic Prowler store on Brewer Street and it’s now open for you to peruse its goods – just in time for the Pride in London celebrations this weekend. Found at 50 Old Compton Street (at what was Fifty&Dean), Prowler Red specialises primarily in fetishwear, so it’s the place to head if you want a sexy piece of leather or rubber for the big day this Saturday (7 Jul). Stock up on lube, condoms and poppers while you’re there, too.

But before all that, earlier in the day there’s a pre-Pride breakfast at Gear London on Great Eastern Street from 9am until 11am, where you can get changed and check bags in at the coatcheck, and later from 6pm there’ll be drinks, snacks, live demos and a meet ‘n’ greet back at Gear until 11pm.
