Gay retail store Clonezone is gearing up to celebrate Pride in London this Saturday by walking in the Parade, hosting an XXXtra special porn star meet ‘n’ greet, and spreading the love with selfies, freebies and a ton of special offers. Here, Clonezone’s communications and PR manager, Topher Taylor, tells you all you need to know ahead of the big day.
We are very excited to be taking part in the Pride in London Parade this Saturday, for the first time in three years. The last time we did the Parade, in 2015, we had so much fun that it’s hard to remember it. It all seemed to go by so fast in a blur. In 2016 and 2017, we focused heavily in Old Compton Street but, after a very successful year as Clonezone, we wanted to go big and do the Parade again. The Pride in London Parade is a great way for us to be directly visible to the people that have made our company a success; our customers.
Our float has been designed and built in collaboration with Her Upstairs in Camden, our favourite spot to knock back cocktails and watch the best drag in the UK. The float will be very over-the-top, queer, sparkly and fabulous. We are going unapologetically pink and can’t wait for you to see it. If you can’t make the parade, don’t worry as we’ll have the entire thing video documented.
We have a fabulous mix of artists including drag performers, models, porn performers, customers and colleagues walking with us. We are also very excited to announce that award-winning porn star Max Duro will be joining us. Over the past few months, we have worked closely with Max as ‘the face of Clonezone’. It’s near-impossible to not fall in love with Max when you meet him, so we’d like to invite YOU to come and meet him after the Parade at Clonezone Soho from 2pm. Get ready to meet your new Man Crush Monday #MCM.
In store we’ll have the usual music, dancing and sexy guys as well as Clonezone temporary tattoos, free Pride giveaways and exclusive discounts. Please come and say hey and take some selfies with us.
