National Scene News: Martha and Seann at Sundowners plus Paul Morrell at The Yard

You get two stars on stage at Margate funhouse Sundowners this bank holiday weekend. On Saturday (25 Aug) the fabulous Martha D’Arthur makes her debut on the Sundowners stage, so expect a night of songs and life-scarring barbs as she delivers ditties and jokes at Mach 1 speed. But that’s not all. Seann Miley Moore was one of the singers to make it to the live shows on the 12th series of The X Factor back in 2015 and this Sunday (26 Aug) he’ll be performing live on stage from 9pm. Hopefully we’ll hear some of the songs he performed on the show, including The Show Must Go On and Bowie’s Life On Mars, as well as his latest single High Heel’d Shoes.

Seann was voted off in the second live show, and although he was not in the top seven he was given a place on The X Factor Live Tour 2016, so you can expect some star quality to your bank holiday Sunday show this weekend. Entry is free before 9pm or just £3 after.
