The Eagle Cardiff and Eagle 50

There aren’t many gay bars around the UK that we know of with their very own sexy brother venue just a few doors down in the shape of a hot ‘n’ horny sauna, but the Eagle Cardiff is one such bar. The bar is open daily from 5pm at 39 Charles Street and offers rubber and leather nights, sports socials, bear nights, live strippers and loads more. While the sauna arm of the business, Eagle 50, is open daily from midday – 24 hours a day over the weekend – and is found a hop, skip and a jump away at 50 Charles Street, and comes complete with spa facilities, eucalyptus steam room and private cinema cabins. You got it, you’re Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow

The Wow Bar in Cardiff is one of our favourite Welsh hangouts and this Friday (31 Aug) show-stopping showgirl Miss Kitty ends the month of August in style when she welcomes singer extraordinaire Stephanie Webber to the stage, where you can expect a medley of stunning songs from both acts throughout the evening. On Saturday (1 Sep) it’s Campilicious with Miss Jackson, Gypsy Divine and DJ Krys, while at Sunday Funday the next day there’s a jam-packed evening of free entertainment on offer with Miss Kitty, Pixie Perez and Marcia Bassey Jones.

The Golden Cross Cardiff

There’s huge fun to be had at the Golden Cross in Cardiff each and every weekend throughout September, kicking off next Friday (7 Sep) with the marvellous Marcia Bassey Jones. Sunday is of course the day of rest so kick back and enjoy live entertainment each week at Sunday Service with the outrageous Miss Penny this Sunday (2 Sep) and Martha D’Arthur next Sunday, plus Fanny Burns, Kara Van Parks and Vicki Vivacious to look forward to later in the month. Sweet.

Mary’s Cardiff

There’s no need to worry about your Saturday (1 Sep) night anymore because at Mary’s in Cardiff there’s a six-hour party in the form of dance, pop and current chart hits from resident DJ Billy who takes to the decks from 8pm until 2am. And then on Sunday there’s LOADS of fun to be had with bingo from 5pm, hosted by Aunty Ade and Aunty Betty with cash prizes to be won. DJ Mary Golds is then on the decks until 9pm when there’s a special guest cabaret star each week, and then DJ Billy Joe keeps the music going until 1am. Blimey.

OMG’s Kings Arms Swansea

At OMG’s Kings Arms Swansea every Wednesday it’s Poundemonium, OMG’s premium student night, complete with £1 drinks and free entry all night long. On Thursday night it’s Mic Drop Karaoke with hostess Ruby Slippers from 9pm, and then come Sunday it’s cabaret with the one and only Amber Dextrous. Swansea’s sexy cocktail bar Kon Tiki

Small but perfectly formed cocktail bar Kon Tiki offers a fantastic menu of drinks bursting with colour and flavour. On Wednesdays the team offers £1 tequilas, £3 spirit mixers and 2-4-1 on cocktails, while on some Saturdays in the month the party continues well into Sunday morning.
