What could be more civilised than spending a Sunday evening in the royal borough of Greenwich with a small sherry and some gorgeous people? Well, we did get the gorgeous people, we may have had more than the one small sherry and, honestly, last Sunday night at the George and Dragon was anything but civilised – and we loved it. We had a brilliant night in the company of The Duchess, her fantastic team and some of our favourite cabaret stars. Sadly we missed Tony Sinclair, but got the legendary Dave Lynn, who was on fine form, and the totally bonkers Miss Jason, who even coaxed an off-duty Mrs Moore into a surprise duet. The G&D on a Sunday is a great fun night and we recommend a visit as soon as.
