Forget the working week at The Yard Coventry

Fridays continue to go from strength to strength at The Yard in Coventry this month where this Friday (14 Sep) the amazing Fannie Coil hits the stage with her brand of rude, crude comedy. Expect hilarious jokes, songs and totes audience bantz. Then next Friday (21 Sep) it’s Spangles Galore while the weekend after that it’s the spectacular Fanny Burns.

Flock to The Trocks

Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo, otherwise known as Trocks, are the multi-award-winning all-male comedy ballet company from New York City currently touring the UK with a fabulous show. They’re at the Peacock Theatre in London until 22 September before they head to the Mayflower in Southampton on 28/29 Sep, Theatre Royal Newcastle on 2/3 Oct, New Theatre Hull 5/6, Bord Gais Theatre Dublin on 9/10 Oct and Opera house Buxton on 13 Oct. Pat Clutcher makes her debut at Sundowners 

Drag Idol 2018 semi-finalist Pat Clutcher heads to the coast this weekend to make her debut at Margate funhouse Sundowners on Saturday (15 Sep). Expect glitter, sequins, feathers and fab songs from this one of a kind act from 11pm – entry is free before 9pm for just £3 after. And then, come next Saturday (22 Sep), the amazing Sandra is your star turn. Hold on to your drinks/boyfriends/husbands/waistbands, it’s going to be a show to remember!

Mary Golds is live in Cardiff

Join the Welsh daffodil herself, Mary Golds, for an evening of song, comedy and stories from her showbiz life at the Lookout Cafe and Bar in Cardiff next month. Who knows which of her celebrity pals will be in attendance – you could be sat next to a dame! Then again, you might not. Nevertheless, Mary is known all over the UK for her sassy wit, scandalous comedy and stunning costumes, and will be joined by a special guest in the form of sensational vocalist Mark Gibson, who was recently named ‘Cardiff’s Favourite Singer’ at a local awards ceremony. The show will be held on Friday 5 October.

Your weekend at Missing Bar

Start your weekend with a pop of a cork this Friday (14 Sep) at Missing Bar Birmingham where bottles of prosecco are only £12.99 from 7pm. Later that same night, DJ Mike Emery and hostess Gavina take over for Hitman and Her, while on Saturday it’s non-stop disco hits with Your Disco Needs You.
