We’d never ask a gentleman his age, but last Sunday there were ‘a few’ candles on the cake as the great and good of the London gay scene came together to celebrate Jimmy Smith’s birthday at the Two Brewers.
With a giant ‘Yes dear’ – Jimmy’s favourite expression – displayed up on the cabaret stage, we got special sets from the likes of Miss Jason, Mary Mac, Miss Penny, Crystal D’Canter, Tanya Hyde on a rare London visit, and many more. We laughed, mostly at Jimmy’s expense, sang along and laughed a lot more. Happy birthday, Jimmy, from everyone at Boyz.
