A right Royal scare at The RVT for Halloween weekend

There’s always magic in the air at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern but for Halloween it all takes on a more twisted turn. There’s club nights, cabaret and an invitation to
a full on Horror Hotel – here’s a glimpse at just some of the highlights, and don’t forget Big Bingo on Monday and Bar Wotever on Tuesday!

Push The Button: Call Your Ghoulfriend

Friday 26 October, 9pm – 3am

The pop freaks at Push The Button love a theme night – any excuse to dress up – and this Friday they are mixing Halloween with the return of pop icon Robyn. The music will be gorgeous, lots of Robyn plus much more, and they want you to make that extra effort with dressing up, so they are looking for fembots, vampires, robot boys, konichiwa witches, mummies, she-wolfs and in fact anything you like. We recommend you get your tickets now.

Duckie: Scary Mary Night

Saturday 27 October, 9pm – 2am

There’s a touch of Halloween every Saturday at Duckie with gorgeous monsters and thrilling tunes from Readers Wifes, and this Saturday at its Scary Mary Night you get performances from Joseph Mercier and Adam All.

Sunday Social with Myra DuBois

Sunday 28 October, 3pm – midnight

It may be difficult to believe but there’s actually a darker side to cabaret superstar Myra DuBois and through the medium of song, witty stories and maybe even poetry, Rotherham’s one-woman coven will be bringing that to The RVT this Sunday. We’ve also heard rumour that she’ll be bringing us her unique ‘interpretations’ of songs from Rocky Horror – don’t say we didn’t warn you… Plus you get the best in pumping club tunes for the likes of Simon Le Vans, Liam Chaplin and Sean Sirrs.

Pop Horror: Scare B&B

Wednesday 31 October, 7pm – midnight

For Halloween night at The RVT what else but the team from Pop Horror?! They will transform the venue into a haunted hotel, or Scare B&B, and we are promised an unforgettable night of treats, performance, games and things that go bump in the night. Hosted by the Bellboy from Hell and Boyz cover star Adam All, along with Apple Derrieres, plus performances from Tracy Barlow, Emily Feist, Lasana Shabazz, Mynxie Monroe, Juliet Sugg and Baby Lame.
