Last Saturday afternoon we headed to our favourite cabaret bunker for an amazing afternoon and evening of the very finest cabaret this town has to offer.
We were of course at Halfway II Heaven with Heather and her amazing team celebrating five years of raising a massive amount of money – over £11,000 – for charity Cancer is a Drag. Hosted by Rose Garden, who was on brilliantly funny form, the packed crowd were spoilt rotten with shows from Lola Lasagne, Vanity Nightmare, Miss Krystal Ball, Chamonix Aspen, Halfway’s Drag Idol champ Felix Le Freak and more, finishing with the brilliant Vixens. DJs Little John and Justin Swift did a sterling job of knob twiddling too. Well done to everyone involved.
Halfway is celebrating Halloween all this weekend.
