Pink Oktoberfest: Sunday 7 October
Hands up who likes a large glass of beer, or six, some honestly bonkers cabaret and a German sausage on a Sunday evening.
Well we certainly do and we certainly did last Sunday at Pink Oktoberfest at the Olympic Park in Stratford, East London. This gloriously camp LGBT+ celebration of the annual German booze and food fest was packed with barmy cabaret, glamorous costumes, guys in lederhosen, a very lively mixed crowd and enough beer to sink several battleships (but don’t mention the war). You won’t be surprised to find out Monday morning was a tad ‘special’, but we’ll be at the next one for sure.
