Guys and Dolls is a classic musical from the golden age of  stage musicals, when boys were boys and the girls swooned to a gorgeous score packed with hit songs. The show is back for three very special performances at The Royal Albert Hall, here’s all you need to know.

Guys and Dolls is a musical by Frank Loesser, Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows that was first performed in 1950 and won both a Tony and Pulitzer prize.

This classic musical is a sizzling, New York tale of gamblers, gangsters and nightclub singers, plus one missionary… The show features some of Broadway’s greatest show-stoppers, including Luck Be a Lady, Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat and I’ve Never Been in Love Before. After its stage success, it was made into a dazzling film starring both Marlon Brandon and Frank Sinatra.

Guys and Dolls swaggers into the Royal Albert Hall the week after next for three very special performances starring Adrian Lester, Jason Manford and Meow Meow. This semi-staged version of the hit musical comedy, will be directed and choreographed by Stephen Mear, and will also feature Joe Stilgoe, Clive Rowe, reprising his Olivier Award-winning role, and the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra.

This is a fantastic chance to see and hear this famous show in one of the world’s most iconic venues and should not be missed.
