The Myra DuBois Podcast
Thursday 29 November, 7pm to midnight
All the truly great performers record a live album at some point in their career and because Myra DuBois is so down with the kids and of her time, it’s not some cash in box set, it’s a podcast and you can be part of the experience. Yes, that one woman meat raffle, Rotherham’s least celebrated daughter, the unsinkable Myra bows to public pressure and presents her first podcast to be recorded live this Thursday at The RVT. Expect interviews with celebrities of varying quality, anecdotal chit-chat and perhaps even a song or two from the distinctive vocal stylings of Myra herself. Tickets via vauxhalltavern.com
Push The Button: Sexy Ho Ho Ho

What better way to say goodbye to November than with a Girls Aloud themed Christmas party! Yep, the team from Push The Button are making a Promise, that they will Call The Shots with a Love Machine of a party plus The Show, of course. Duckie – Princess Project
Saturday 1 December, 9pm–4am
This Saturday those gorgeous freaks from Duckie are launching their Princess Project which will explore what Queer London was like in the 18th Century with performances and a chat from historian E-J Scott. Plus from tonight the much loved club night is open every week to 4am, yes more of everything we love about Duckie… Wahoo! Entry is £5 before 10.30pm, £8 after.
Sunday Cabaret/Sunday Dance
Sunday 2 December from 4pm-10.30pm
Sundays have undergone a bit of a refresh at The RVT, with a slight change in times etc, but don’t panic you still get amazing cabaret. This Sunday it’s the always brilliant Charlie Hides, with DJ Simon Le Vans, followed by some amazing uplifting music from a different DJ each week on rotation, all playing commercial house and pop classics.
