Ku are raising money for The Food Chain

The team at Ku Bar are always at the front when it comes to fundraising for World AIDS Day and this year is no exception. On Friday (30 Nov) they will be raising money for the brilliant Food Chain at the Lisle Street venue. The night starts at 6pm and will feature a charity auction packed with gorgeous things and it’s all hosted by another gorgeous thing, Vicki Vivacious!

Cabaret at The Two Brewers

There’s another amazing World AIDS Day event at The Two Brewers on Thursday (29 Nov) when Wandsworth Oasis present the Red Ribbon Cabaret in the Club Bar from 7pm with Mrs Moore, ABBA Licious, Sum Ting Wong and loads more including Heart & Soul who are also in the Cabaret Bar later. On Friday the London Titans are back with The Vixens and Sum Ting Wong paying tribute to Little Mix at Shout Out To My Ball. Saturday it’s the always hilarious Lola Lasagne and there’s two events on Sunday, starting at 5pm with Miss Hope Springs and her Christmas Agogo ‘spectacular’ in the Club Bar, while a bit later it’s The Power of Three with more cabaret madness.

The Yard Coventry’s Snow Ball Street Party

On World AIDS Day (Sat 1 Dec) the gang at The Yard in Coventry will be hosting a a big party to raise money for National AIDS Trust. There will be a huge outside (heated!) dance marquee and bars plus some great acts including Muyta Buena from the Sugababes, Marcella Woods, Kieron Richardson and Jorgie Porter from Hollyoaks plus cabaret from Miss Thunderpussy, Jade Justine and more live on stage from 4pm. 

Special Club Briefs for Terrence Higgins Trust

This Saturday (1 Dec) those gorgeous boys from Briefs, everyone’s favourite boylesque troupe, are putting on a special performance of Club Briefs to raise money for Terrence Higgins Trust for World AIDS Day at the Leicester Square Spiegeltent. Treat yourself at Balans 

One of our favourite World AIDS Day traditions is the totally decadent and delicious special cocktail that the gang at Balans Soho Society create each year. This year’s Flash For Freddie is a tribute to Freddie Mercury and seriously yummy. It’s available now until the end of Saturday (1 Dec) with all proceeds going to GMFA… so go ahead and treat yourself.

White Swan Positive East fundraiser

This Saturday (1 Dec) the team at The White Swan in Limehouse will be hosting a special World AIDS Day fundraiser for local HIV charity Positive East. Hosted by hot new cabaret star Chanel No5 with some special guests in a show at 11.15pm and brilliant guest DJ CactusHead in the Basement Club. Entry is just £8.

Fundraising at The Welly

For World AIDS Day this year, Oliver and his Boyz Award-winning team at The Duke of Wellington will be collecting cash on Saturday (1 Dec) for The Food Chain. And on Sunday the gang from BritBears are hosting a special Sunday Social with a charity bake sale for Terrence Higgins Trust from 2pm to 6pm.

XXL for World AIDS Day

The team at XXL will be marking World AIDS Day this Saturday (1 Dec) with a theme inspired by the legend that is Freddie Mercury and they will be raising money for the Mercury Phoenix Trust. A £1 donation will be added to the door price and then XXL will match that pound for pound.

British Legion fundraiser at The G&D

This Thursday (29 Nov) The Duchess and her minions at The George and Dragon in Greenwich will be hosting a charity quiz to raise funds for the Royal British Legion. This great charity provides financial, social and emotional support to members and veterans of the British Armed Forces, their families and dependants. This promises to be a fun filled quiz night from 8pm.

Mother Goose lands at Above The Stag

It’s that time of year again… oh yes it is! This year’s Above The Stag panto Mother Goose Cracks One Out is on now and runs until January. Packed with brilliant original songs and a ton of laughs, this adult panto is not for the kids … and we say hoorah! Tickets on sale now at abovethestag.com

Clementine at Crazy Coqs

Clementine the Living Fashion Doll is a star of stage, screen and social media who took the West End by storm last Christmas and now she’s back with her hilarious show. Get Rubbed at The RVT Panto

Over the past few years those little pixes at The Royal Vauxhall Tavern have built a real reputation for their pantos and this year’s show Rubbed does not disappoint. It’s a hilarious mix of the traditional tale of Aladdin and his genie but with a definite RVT twist. It’s on from Wednesday (28 Nov) through December, get dates and tickets at vauxhalltavern.com

World AIDS Day at G-A-Y Bar

On Saturday (1 Dec) at G-A-Y Bar for World AIDS Day you can get a free HIV test with the 56 Dean Street team between midday and 8pm. For every person that tests G-A-Y will pay for a gay man or trans person to get access to HIV testing in Russia, Kazakhstan and Uganda.

Baga and Terry at The Old Ship

On Saturday (1 Dec) the one and only Baga Chipz will be back at The Old Ship for more bad behaviour plus on Sunday it’s the gorgeous Miss Terry Tour.

Pride’s Got Talent 2019 is open

Pride’s Got Talent is the amazing contest that promotes LGBT+ performers of all kinds and you can now apply for the 2019 run. You can be a cabaret act of any kind: drag, stand up, magician, dance, or something totally different or a music act of any sort; a band, solo artist or whatever, everyone is welcome. Rumour Mill on Friday

Rumour Mill is the exciting new night out at the incredible Our/London Vodka Distillery in Hackney this Friday (30 Nov). Drag Idol All Stars at The Dunky

This year the Admiral Duncan are holding their World AIDS Day fundraiser on Sunday (2 Dec) and it’s Drag Idol All Stars with a host of acts we first fell in love with at Drag Idol including Baga Chipz, Kara Van Park, Vileda Moppe, Crystal D’Canter and acts from this year too.
